CAPTAIN AMERICA WWII STYLE COSTUMES

This page is for all things World War II related concerning Captain America costumes.
Specifically geared towards the two comic book costumes of Cap's outfit in WWII.
Some items on this page may crossover or be repeated on the Bucky Rescue. There are separate pages for the Bucky Rescue outfit and the First Avenger gear which both really should fall under WWII, but they are each so popular that I felt they deserved their own pages.
So this page is for people who want to do a WWII style Captain America outfit that is different from the versions seen in the movie, but still are very recognizable as Captain America in the 1940's.
A clear example of this would be how Cap looked in the first few pages of The Ultimates comic book before he was frozen in ice. It's a popular style.
The other WWII Cap outfit is his first original outfit seen way back in 1941 of the first issue of the Captain America comic book.
The costume he started in was close to his modern day comic costume only instead of the round trademark 'Bullseye' shield he had the triangular 'Heater' shield and instead of a cowl Cap simply had a mask that covered the top half of his head (his ears and neck were exposed).
